Happy Birthday Kaitlyn!!

Today Kati turned 4! She wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese for her birthday so grandma & grandpa met us up there for some pizza, cake & presents. We were there for 3 hrs & we saw Chuck E like 4 x's.
Jet Ski game
Kelsi & McKena bowling... McKena kept getting the 100 hole (the ones all the way on the top of each corner.) Her Cinderella skirt from Aunt Kim
from Grandpa & Grandma
A thumbs up from Chuck E on the Cinderella dress.
Kody liked him!
A birthday hug from Chuck E
Her princess cake
Kody loved the balloons
We are going to have a actual birthday party for her & Kody together in a few weeks.
4 years ago....... My first red head & last daughter came into this world! Ben was away at AIT in the Army in KY. I finally got to tell him & talk to him 2 days after I had her. It also was the same day Roger returned from his second tour in Iraq. My mom, Tessa & Kathy were with me when I delivered Kati. Tessa was sweet enough to stay the night in the hospital with me since Ben was gone! Thanks Tessa!!! Your such a great friend!! We love you! :o) 3 months later we moved to Germany!!

YAY Kelsi!!!

So after the last few weeks of spouting radishes for her Science Fair project it was time to make the display board & enter it in the Science Fair. Her project was Soil temperature, she planted 3 cups of seeds in each of her variables. Her variables were room temperature (kitchen), warm/hot temperature (bathroom), cold temperature (garage). The bathroom ones sprouted very fast a few days after we planted them. Kitchen ones sprouted in the time specified on the package of seeds & the cold ones took a little longer. Now at the end of the project the cold & warm ones were the tallest plants BUT the room temperature had the healthiest looking ones!
Yesterday was the Science Fair where the judges came around to the kids & they were asked lots of questions & judged them by their performance as well as the project itself & the display board... Which by the way we were up till midnight working on since we all were to sick to work on it the week before.
Ok.. so I do have a point to all of this!!! Today she found out that she placed................................ 2nd!!!! :o) We are very proud of her! Even though I was complaining about this whole thing & the invention convention.. I think it is a lot of work for 3rd graders.. but she has done well both times! I can't remember if I posted about the invention convention but she placed 4th & got honorable mention! Now that she has placed 2nd her Science Fair project & her go to Reno to be judged!!
Warm (bathroom)

Room (kitchen)

Cold (garage)

Mostly over the Flu

Kody while he was sick
For the most part it looks like we are over the bad part of it. The cough & congestion apparently can last another few weeks. Everyone is feeling much better & back to school as well as all the other activities! :o)
