Softball Signups/Digital Photography Class

Last Tues. I started a digital photography class with my friend Kelly! I am excited about it & depending on how this semester goes I may look into getting a fine arts degree. We all know how much I love taking pics so I don't have to explain the reason for the class.. lol I am also getting a new camera this week!!! I'm really excited about it & can't wait to take some pics with it.

Sat. was softball signups for the girls! They are both playing again this year.. so the next few months of blogging should be full of softball & photography class pics. :o)

I think this sums up my lack of blogs over the last 12 days.

McKena's 6th Birthday

We had McKena's birthday party today at the Childrens Museum, it was def. fun & interesting! The only kids that came to her birthday from her class was boys.. no girls.. lol The boys were a rowdy bunch but of course I knew what I was getting myself into since I volunteer in McKena's class on a bi-weekly basis.

Home Edition....

As the local people that read my blog know... Extreme Makeover Home Edition picked a family in Silver Springs, Nv & they are building them a new home. Well Ben & I signed up to Volunteer a few days ago & today we heard that they had such a overwhelming response all the spots had been filled. We are sort of bummed about it as we were both excited to go be a part of it! I think it would have been a lot of fun helping hundreds of people build that house! Chuck E Sketch

We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese this week where Tessa also met us for dinner. That is the best time to go in the middle of the week!! Hardly anyone was there so the kids had lots of fun. They were addicted to the Sketch machine where it takes your picture & then sketches it out for you. I think I have about 8 of these.. lol This was to good not to post though!!! (Yes that would be Kelsi's hand holding Kati by the neck!)

Wacky Wednesday!

McKena's class had a Wacky Wednesday this week where the kids had to dress wacky! This is the best we could come up with! lol :o) Her shirt is also backwards but you can't really tell that in the pic.

9 months

( he got into his sisters plate which had ketchup on it!! What a mess) Ok.. so technically he is closer to 10 months but they were a little behind on scheduling him in for his check ups. He weighs 23 lbs 8 oz & 30.5" tall .. He just keeps growing & growing! There is no stopping this boy! :o) He also got in his first tooth a few days ago!

What the "big" storm brought us...

It was supposed to be this huge storm of the year.. etc etc.. Honestly I think its more like what winter should be like! lol :o) We did get snow for the past few days & the roads are all still real icy here. Ben shoveled the driveway after the first day of it & now you can't even tell since its covered again.
