Princess House

As a few of you know I had a Princess House party last weekend. It went well and I earned what I was out to earn! I can't wait to get my stuff! Today I attended another Princess House party & decided to make the jump and become a consultant. After looking it over and knowing that I want to switch all our cookware into their stainless steel cookware, this is the most likely way for me to earn it. I can make extra money doing it as well as earn all kinds of things. My goal is to get 4 bookings by April 24th. This will earn me the incentive they have right now, which is a crystal salad bowl. It also jump starts me to earning the all inclusive trip in Nov. to Cancun! The trip is the week before my birthday and extends through Ben's birthday. I think it would be awesome to be a part of this trip! We all know how much we love to travel! If you are interested at all in helping me jump start my business please give me a call or email me! Once Again....

Kelsi has a broken arm! She broke it the night before her first softball practice this past week. So she will be sitting out the first part of the season for sure. This also comes about 9 months after she broke her other arm. She fell off her bike this time, last time it was the scooter. Thinking its time to get rid of them! :o)

New Job!!

Last Friday I was offered full time at Advocates. I now work the normal 20 hrs I did before as the Sexual Assault Advocate & an additional 20 hrs as a Court Advocate at the court house. I filled in temporarily at the court house for a similar position about 9 months ago & loved it as well. I was excited when I learned the person in this position was leaving and they were offering me the job! I started yesterday being full time which happened to be my 1 year anniversary at Advocates. :o)

Happy 2nd Birthday Kody

I'm a little behind in blogging! Kody turned 2 on the 16th! We had my parents, Nancy & Scott over for dinner & cake.

Disneyland!

Last Weekend we celebrated Kaitlyn's 5th birthday at Disneyland. We spent 3 days in the park & were gone a total of 5 days with a day for driving down & back. :o) I think everyone had a great time. We payed for the Pat "E" Cake birthday party. Each person got a personal cake with stuff to decorate, Mickey & Minnie visited & they had a few games for the kids. Kati of course flipped out, she is shy & didn't care one bit for it. Didn't like the action focused on her. There were other kids with birthdays there as well but she wasn't happy about it at all. Everyone else enjoyed it though.

Of course I have tons of pictures, I took almost 1,000! I won't bore you with all those but I believe about 200 are on the fotki site. www.fotki.com/karibird28 Saturday we had early passes to get into the park an hour early so we were up at 5:30 in the morning to get to the park at 7. We took a break for a few hours in the middle of the day to swim at the hotel. All the kids enjoyed that, it was 80 degrees while we were there. WAY to HOT for me!!! Was nice weather and crowded, the USA JR nationals for cheerleading were happening at California Adventure the place was packed all 3 days we were there with kids/teenager cheerleaders.Kody was able to go on more rides then we thought. He will be 2 next weekend and was tall enough to go on Matterhorn & the roller coaster in Toon Town, and of course all the other regular kid rides. He loved it! He loves Mickey Mouse & "Goopy" :o)

Rhaegan turns 5...

A few weeks ago was Rhaegan's birthday, she is 8 days older then Kaitlyn. They had her party at the Coconut Bowl in Sparks. I didn't even know that place existed, pretty cool! The kids loved it. Its a huge bowling, indoor play place.

I have a funny story to tell.. & I wish someone would have had video or a photo of it! Terra, Ryan & another adult were bowling. We didn't bowl because Kody & Kati wanted to wonder around. Kody loves Ryan, so he was staying close to the bowling action. I was sitting down & watching, Kody was about half way between the thing where the balls return to you & the lanes. He started going for the lane.. so I told him a few times to stop & come back. Of course he didn't listen, so I got up & headed towards him. This made him start running, so I start running.. we hit the lane, the thing starts beeping because your not supposed to go over the lines. Down the lane we go... Kody running .. me chasing.. Ohh.. the lanes are SLICK.. did not know that! So down I went! Shortly after down Kody went! I'm sure it was hilarious watching us go down the lanes & then falling. :o) I didn't want to stand back up on the lane, luckily they were the end lane, so I crawled off the lane to the walkway next to it, got up to where Kody had fallen.. mind you this whole time he is screaming just laying in the middle of the lane because he fell flat on his back/head. He is so big, I couldn't pick him up from where he was at so I had to drag him over to the side before picking him up. If you can picture this whole scenerio I'm sure your laughing by now! :o)
