A Day in the Park

Today I had a photo shoot in Reno at the park, afterwards I took a few pictures of Ben and the kids. The colors were perfect and so many neat picture opportunities. The kids loved playing in the leaves as well. I probably could have stayed there for hours longer and got a million more pictures. :o) It was a perfect fall day. Cole's Birthday

Last weekend we went down to Vacaville for Cole's birthday party. I don't know why I seem to be running a week behind on posting lately. Sorry! It was a long day that started off with us taking the long way down there so I could get some fall pictures for my class. Somewhere UNMARKED I missed the turn so that we wouldn't have had to go all the way into Jackson. We ended up in Jackson & then were a few short minutes late to the party. :o) A few of the fall pictures are on the photo blog (link to the right). We made it back home around midnight. Looking back now, I don't have many pictures from the party.. very odd. :o(

Spiders!!! We found her by our fridge in the garage.. after taking some pictures we did smash her. Shortly after we found another one in almost the same area.... hopefully that is it & they didn't breed before getting killed! You can see the web she was spinning as we were messing with her.

First Snow ...

Last Friday we had our first snow of the year! I was excited, winter is one of my favorite seasons! Of course that meant we had to turn our heater on which I hate the gas bill that comes with that one. :o) Is started snowing shortly before taking the girls to school & lasted about 2 hrs.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Saturday we tied ribbons on the main street in Carson City. Along the trees & capital's fence.. we started at 7:30 am & took us a little over an hour. If you are local you may want to check out our silhouette display at the public library as well. Each silhouette has a story of a person killed by domestic violence here locally. Purple ribbons represent domestic violence, so get a purple ribbon & show your support! :o)
